Having grown up outside of Milwaukee, WI, I have been an avid weather enthusiast my entire life. I graduated from the outstanding Valparaiso University meteorology program in 1998. After a year and a half at WSBT-TV in South Bend, IN while in school, I arrived in Kansas City in to work at KSHB-TV (Channel 41). While there, I had the privilege to work under one of the finest forecasters in the area in Gary Lezak. Unfortunately, after the economic slump around the terrorist attacks of 9/11, my contract was allowed to expire as a part of a company-wide cutback. I started the Kansas City Weather Podcast started in early February 2005 and was the world’s very first weather-themed podcast.
